Northern Ireland complete clean sweep for Home Nations

Despite a narrow defeat to Germany Northern Ireland have progressed to the last 16 of Euro 2016, joining Group B winners Wales and runners up England in the draw.

Northern Ireland secured 3rd spot in Group C, viewed by many as one of the hardest groups, with enough points to be guaranteed a place in the last 16.

With matches in other groups still to be played the opponents for the three remain unconfirmed, but a Northern Ireland v Wales tie in Paris on Saturday is still a possibility, and their half of the draw now looks significantly easier.
